Sustentabilidade Financeira

In order to work with the best articles received, the editorial processes necessary for the continuity of publications and the quality of the Ibero-American Journal of Integrative Health are under the responsibility of the Editora Ibero-Americana de Educação, thus, the journal reserves the right to publish only the manuscripts that have passed through the Editor's team.

The maintenance of editorial activities with scientific quality requires adequate and continuous structure and resources. The publication of articles requires costs with language revision, translation, standardization, layout, desktop publishing (DOI, XML, HTML), among other services. The model of public financing of publishing activity in Brazil, despite being one of the most successful experiences in the world, is still insufficient.

It should be noted that RISI does not charge any type of fee for submission, evaluation or publication of articles. The editorial process, under the responsibility of the Editora Ibero-Americana de Educação, is funded by the Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by the authors, which covers: i) text revision services, after the modifications requested in the evaluation process are made by the authors; ii) formatting and standardization of the work, only ABNT standards, citations, and references; iii) complete translation into English, including the Portuguese versions of articles originally in English or Spanish; iv) XML and HTML version; v) publishing services for the dissemination of the articles; (vi) costs of validating the DOI; vii) review and formatting of the metadata related to the article and authors' information on the OJS platform – Open Journal System – and on the article; viii) other article publishing and editorial management services. The total amount of the APC may vary by tax and is only charged after passing the evaluation process. More information about the fees will be sent in direct communication with the authors or through request.
