About the Journal

Focus & Scope

The Ibero-American Journal of Integrative Health (RISI) is a continuous online journal that aims to disseminate knowledge in all areas related to health. In our journal, manuscript submissions are accepted from the following areas: Biomedicine, Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medicine, Nutrition, Dentistry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and its subareas.

Our comprehensive focus aims to propose multidisciplinarity within health, being an inclusive platform that promotes different areas to advance the development of human health knowledge. In addition, it should serve to disseminate original research, review articles, clinical case reports, and brief comments related to these topics. In this way, we will work with articles by researchers, professors, graduate students, collective production of study and research groups, from educational systems and professional clinical practice. In adherence to Open Science practices, the journal also accepts preprints.

This journal aims to publish unpublished works that contribute to its specific area of research and that can support new studies. Researchers with a minimum degree equivalent to a PhD are able to submit texts for analysis. Proposals from undergraduate and graduate students will be accepted, as long as they are accompanied by their advisors. We suggest that authors submit their manuscripts and talk to our editorial team so that the experience of the publication process is as fluid as possible for both parties. We recommend a careful reading of the submission rules and guidelines, since articles may be rejected in the initial analysis if they are not in accordance with the journal's editorial policy.
