The Ibero-American Journal of Integrative Health adheres to the Open Access policy and offers free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the general public provides greater democratization of access to information, a condition for citizens to improve the exercise of freedom of choice, based on their interests and above them. In this sense, it is not necessary to pay fees to read the works in the journal.

We seek to advance Open Science: therefore, we aim, in 2024, to publish, along with the articles, the anonymous opinions that supported the editorial decision; and, as of 2025, in addition to the opinions, publish the names of the reviewers and the names of the editors responsible for each article.
