Ética em Pesquisa

The Ibero-American Journal of Integrative Health requires compliance with the ethical issues involved in research. The following documents are taken into account:

  1. Resolution of the National Health Council No. 510, of April 7, 2016;
  2. Resolution of the National Health Council No. 466, of December 12, 2012.

In this sense, in the case of research involving human beings, some requests are necessary:

  1. In cases of research submitted to an Ethics Committee:
    1. Include in the body of the text of the manuscript the approval number, or protocol number if approval is still pending, of the Ethics Committee to which it was submitted;
    2. It is suggested that information about the ethical precautions adopted by the authors during the production of the research be included;
  2. In cases of research not submitted to an Ethics Committee:
    1. Include a section on research ethics in the manuscript. It is suggested to read chapter 23 of the e-book "Ethics and research in Education: subsidies – v. 1" (available at this link).

The ethical issues pertaining specifically to authors, reviewers, and editors are described in the guideline’s sections for each of these.
