About the Journal

The Ibero-American Journal of Integrative Health (RISI) is a continuous flow online journal aimed at disseminating knowledge across all fields related to health sciences. Our journal accepts manuscript submissions from the following areas: Biomedicine, Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Medicine, Nutrition, Dentistry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and their respective subfields.

Our broad focus seeks to foster multidisciplinarity within the health sciences, serving as an inclusive platform that promotes diverse fields to advance the development of knowledge in human health. Furthermore, the journal serves as a vehicle for the dissemination of original research articles, literature reviews, clinical case reports, and brief commentaries related to these topics. We welcome contributions from researchers, professors, postgraduate students, and collective productions from study and research groups, stemming from both educational systems and professional clinical practice. In alignment with Open Science practices, the journal also accepts preprints.

This journal aims to publish original, unpublished works that contribute significantly to their specific area of research and support the foundation of future studies. Submissions are open to researchers holding at least a doctoral degree or equivalent. Manuscripts from undergraduate and postgraduate students are accepted, provided they are submitted in co-authorship with their academic supervisors. We encourage authors to engage in dialogue with our editorial team during the submission process to ensure a smooth and effective publication experience for all parties involved. We strongly recommend a thorough review of the journal’s submission guidelines, as manuscripts may be rejected during the initial screening if they do not comply with the journal’s editorial policies.
